About the 2025 Military Summit
The Military Summit is the American College Center for Military and Veterans Affairs’ premier event for educational support and career opportunities that transform the lives of active duty, guard and reserve members, veterans, and their spouses. Hosted by the Center for Military and Veterans Affairs, and sponsored by Center Founding Partner and Sponsor Penn Mutual, 2025 marks the 11th anniversary of the annual fundraising event. The event, formerly known as the Clambake and Soldier-Citizen Award ceremony, was established in 2014 to honor veteran-scholars, celebrate donors and partners, and, along with the Soldier-Citizen Award, recognize leaders in the financial services industry.
The 2025 Military Summit will be held September 18, 2025 at the Bellevue Hotel and the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Military Summit is the Center for Military and Veterans Affairs’ premier event for educational support and career opportunities that transform the lives of those in the military community, especially those transitioning back to the civilian workforce and into the financial services sector. The event is rich with engaging and informative activities, including the exclusive Military Resource Group Networking Lounge for our MRG partners, exciting educational workshops*, and the annual Maury Stewart Lecture Series*. This endowed lecture series, sponsored by Center Founding Partner and Sponsor Penn Mutual, engages the most notable individuals from diverse disciplines to address themes and issues critical to leadership development in the financial services profession and honors the lifelong contributions of Penn Mutual legend Maury Stewart CLU®, ChFC®, CLF®. This year’s Marquee Speaker is Rebecca Patterson, Economic & Financial Markets Expert, Former Chief Investment Strategist for Bridgewater Associates.
The event will culminate with the Soldier-Citizen Award and Scholarship Fund Dinner, where we will honor the 11th annual Soldier-Citizen Award recipient.
