About the American College Center for Retirement Income
Launched in 2007, the American College Center for Retirement Income is committed to raising knowledge about the issues and concepts facing Americans’ retirement through thought leadership, research, consumer-facing education programs, and more. This includes the Center’s ongoing Retirement Income Literacy Study, conducted every three years to assess the state of retirement planning knowledge among consumers and the public.
The Center for Retirement Income also supports and powers The College’s Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation program – one that allows designees to excel in their profession with specialized knowledge in retirement income planning. With it, they join an elite group of over 10,000 designees who made an investment in advanced retirement income planning knowledge.
